আমরা কী নিয়ে আলোচনা করব।

 আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনে এমন অনেক ঘটনাই ঘটে থাকে যেইগুলো আমরা এড়িয়ে যাই অথবা সেটার বিষয়ে আলোচনা করতে গিয়ে মনে করি যে বিষয়টা অতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নয়। এইরকম এই ঘটনা প্রায় সকলের জীবনে বারংবার ঘটতে থাকে এবং এই ধরনের সংঘর্ষ বা আচরণ যেগুলো সামাজিক আদর্শ আর মূল্যবোধ মেনে চলে না, সেইগুলোই পরবর্তীকালে জটিল সামাজিক সমস্যায় পরিবর্তিত হয়। বিদ্যালয় ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের দৃষ্টি থেকে দেখলে হয়তো এই বিষয়গুলো নিতান্তই মজার বা গ্রহণযোগ্য আদব-কায়দা হিসেবে মনে করা যায়, তবে শেষমেষ ওই ছোট্ট আচরণগুলোই অজান্তে গুরুতরভাবে যুবক প্রজন্মে প্রভাব ফেলে। কারোর সাথে মজা করার সঙ্গে তাকে অপমান করা বা বুলি করার মধ্যে একটা খুবই সূক্ষ্ম সীমারেখা রয়েছে। আবার মজা করা এবং বর্ণবাদ এর মধ্যেও একই ভাবে খুব সূক্ষ্ম একটি সীমারেখা রয়েছে, যেইগুলো খেয়াল রাখা খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি বিষয়। ঠিক এইভাবেই অসচেতন হওয়া এবং গালি ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমেও কিছু সমস্যা তৈরি হয়, যেমন লিঙ্গ বৈষম্য (একজন ছাত্রী হিসেবে আমি উপলব্ধি করেছি যে যেই লোকজন গালি ব্যবহার করে তাদের অধিকাংশই সেই গুলোর মানে পর্যন্ত জানে না এবং এটাও বোঝে না যে কিভাবে গালিগুলো পিতৃতান্ত্রিক সমাজের বেঁধে দেওয়া কাঠামো মেনে তৈরি হয়েছে)। এই পত্রিকাটি এইসব বিষয়ে আলোচনা করে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বার্তা প্রচার করতে চায় যে কিভাবে এখনকার তরুণ প্রজন্মই ভবিষ্যতে ঘটে থাকা সামাজিক সমস্যার জন্য দায়ী হবে শুধুমাত্র তাদের ব্যবহার এবং তথাকথিত মজা করার জন্য, সেটা অসচেতন ভাবে করে থাকলেও।

In our daily life, many situations originate which are generally ignored or we don't feel the importance to discuss those with anyone. Similar types of situations take place almost in everyone's life and these incidents or behaviours which don't follow social norms or values, later ends up being a huge social problem. From the perspective of a school level student, maybe these small behaviors and incidents seem like a joke or a cool thing to brag about but the youth isn't aware of how these small gestures influence the personality and cognitive development of the generation. There's a very thin line residing between joking and being disrespectful or bullying an individual. Again, there's a very thin line between joking and racism, and maintaining that limit is very much required. Similarly problems like gender discrimination also arises from some unconcerning small acts like cursing, (as a student, I have perceived that most of the people who curse, are not aware what those words actually mean or how those words support the rules and regulations set by the patriarchal society). This page would like to discuss about how much the younger generations are unaware and how they could be responsible for the social problems taking place in the future, just because of the small jokes and specific behaviours practiced by them daily, be it unconsciously or consciously.
