আমাদের পরিচয়। Who are we

    আমরা যারা এই পত্রিকা তৈরী করেছি, সবাই ছাত্র-ছাত্রী। তাই বুঝতেই পারছো, এই পত্রিকা অনেকটা by the students, of the students, for the students ধরণের ব্যাপার। (আর শিক্ষা যেহেতু কখনোই শেষ হয় না, ফলে সবাইকেই স্বাগত এই ব্লগে।)

    এই পত্রিকা তৈরীর কথা আমাদের মাথায় আসে, যখন আমরা বুঝি, আমাদের বন্ধুদের সাধারণ কথাবার্তার মধ্যে গোটা সমাজের নিষ্ঠুরতার প্রতিফলন ধরা পড়ছে বারবার। হিংস্রতার বিরুদ্ধে বলার জায়গায় হাসি ঠাট্টাই হচ্ছে বেশি। কিন্তু গম্ভীর মুখে কাউকে খানিক ভাবতে বললে, সত্যি যদি তারা ভাবে এই সমাজ নিয়ে, মানুষের প্রতি মানুষের ব্যবহার নিয়ে, এবং শেখে প্রত্যেকটা কথা বুঝে বলতে, প্রত্যেকটা শব্দের অর্থ জেনে উচ্চারণ করতে, তাহলে এই সমাজ, আমাদের স্কুল, আমাদের এলাকা, সবকিছুকেই আরেকটু ভাল বানানো সম্ভব হয়ত। 

    চারদিকে নানারকম কথা, নানা ঠাট্টা (যেগুলোয় না হাসলে বন্ধুরা একঘরে করবে বলেই আমাদের ধারণা) শুনতে শুনতে এক সময়ে উত্তেজিত লাগে। মনে হয় কোথাও প্রকাশ করা প্রয়োজন এই রাগ। প্রকাশ করা দরকার আমাদের চিন্তাগুলো। কেন আমরা মনে করি এগুলো হাসার বিষয় নয়, কেন আমরা মনে করি এগুলো সমাজের পক্ষে ক্ষতিকর। আমরা জানি, আমরা ছোট হলেও আমাদের বক্তব্যগুলিও বদল আনতে পারে সমাজে। বদল আনতে পারে মানুষের চিন্তাধারায়।

    মানুষ হয়ে মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে চাই আমরা, তাই চাইছি সবাই ভাবুক। নিজেকে নিয়ে ভাবুক, পাশের মানুষকে নিয়ে ভাবুক, অবিচার নিয়ে, যুদ্ধ নিয়ে, বৈষম্য নিয়ে, হিংসা নিয়ে ভাবুক। এবং সেই ভাবনাগুলো প্রকাশ করুক কোথাও, ছবি এঁকে, চিঠি লিখে, গান গেয়ে, নাচ করে, প্রবন্ধ লিখে, কবিতা লিখে, ক্যামেরার লেন্সে।

The creators of this magazine are students. The motto of our magazine is; by the students, of the students, for the students. And since learning has no boundaries, everyone is welcome to this blog.



The idea of making this magazine came to our mind when we realized that the cruelty of society is being caught frequently in every conversation with our friends. Instead of speaking against the violence glimpsed through our everyday conversations, we just laugh it off. If you ask someone seriously to think about this society, how people treat each other ruthlessly. By thinking they learn to understand the significance of every word. They learn to utter every word knowing what they signify. By making people think it is possible to maybe make our schools, our neighborhood and even our society better.



In our peer groups various jokes are cracked which often make us annoyed but we are obliged to laugh or else we might get cast out from the group. It seems that this anger needs to be expressed elsewhere. We need to express why we think there is no laughing matter and why we think they are harmful to society. We know, even if we are young, our words can bring change to society. It can change the thought process of the people.



As humans we want to stand next to other fellow humans. So we want everyone to think about themselves, about people around them, about injustice, about war, about discrimination and about violence. We can express our thoughts somewhere painting pictures, writing letters, singing, dancing, writing essays, writing poems, through the lens of a camera.
